The Thompson Kings are a men's professional hockey franchise located in Thompson, Manitoba. They are members of the Manitoba Division of the Western Conference of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL) and are the oldest Manitoba franchise. Founded in 1920, they were originally placed in the Great Eastern Divide in 1927 and joined the Western Conference in 1972. As of 2019, the Kings have won 2 Donavan Cup Championship Series'. They have played their home games at Spirit Way Arena (formerly John R. Knight Centre) since 1974; they formerly inhabited Yardley Community Centre.
